Canadian Snooker Championships Day Three Complete

After day 3, of the 4 day round robin stages, important matches are shaping up in most of the 8 brackets. In Group A, defending champion, Floyd Ziegler and Claude Bernatchez will be meeting to decide who finishes first in their group.

Tom Finstad, last year's runner-up & former Canadian champ, is dominating Group B, with a 3-0 match record. John Axe, Jason Lee, and Jack MacKinnon are fighting for the second spot in the final 16.

Alain Robidoux heads into the final day undefeated in Group C. Ed Heckbert & Ian Ngan will need wins in their final match to move on.

Group D pits Lester Mianskum against Jonathan Sun to determine who will come out first in this group. The same scenario exists in Group E, with former champ Ed Galati squaring off with Peter Terpstra, making his Canadian championships debut.

In Group F, veteran Ken Shea will have to beat Fern Loyer in his last match, to join Kirk Stevens in the final 16. Group G is already determined with Stephane Martineau & Ray Saunders advancing. Group H is also determined with Jeff Kennedy & Pat McCarthy moving on to the sweet 16.

Robidoux had the only century break in day #3, with a 109. Out of the 5 century breaks, Robidoux has 3, with breaks of 123, 109, & 103.
