Castle Billards was the site of the Blaze 9 Ball Tour 15th Stop. A strong field of 59 players came to play, players like Francisco Bustamente, Santos Sambajon, Danny Basavich, Tony Robles, Niels Feijen, Mike Davis, Rob Saaz, Teddy Garrahan, Frankie Hernandez, Joey Korsiak, Lee Holt, Josh Brothers, and Michael Torsado.
Leading the way on the top half of the bracket was Francisco Bustamante with wins over Rob Palm 9-1, Niels Feijen 9-6, Teddy Garrahan 9-5, and Dominic Noe 9-2. Leading the way on the bottom half of the bracket was Santos Sambajon with wins over Ariel Rivera 9-4, Antonio Collozzi 9-4, Tony Ruberto 9-2, Danny Basavich 9-8, and Tony Robles 9-7.
Playing for the hot seat was Francisco Bustamente vs Santos Sambajon. This was a great match that went hill-hill. When the smoke cleared, it was the Little Giant Santos Sambajon with a 9-8 win giving him the hot seat and sending Francisco Bustamante to the one loss side.
Waiting for Francisco Bustamante was Danny Basavich. This was also a great match. The score was 7-7 when Francisco played a great safe, causing Basavich to foul giving Bustamante ball in hand. Bustamante ran out the rack to take the lead 8-7 and then he broke and ran out for a 9-7 win and another chance at Santos in the finals.
In the finals it was Francisco Bustamante vs Santos Sambajon. This time the match was one sided with Francisco Bustamante taking full control from the beginning and winning the match 9-4.
