Francisco Bustamante was won the 2005 Joss Tour Season Finale held at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY.
Bustamante went through the event undefeated and closed it out with wins over Johnny Archer, Efren Reyes and Dennis Hatch. The 9-7 win over Reyes earned Bustamante the hot-seat and Bustamante faced Hatch in the final after a hill-hill Hatch win over Reyes on the one-loss side.
Hatch came out strong in the finals and took a 5-2 lead before Bustamante ran six racks for an 8-5 lead. Hatch fought back and tied the match at 10-10 before Bustamante won three of the last four games for the 13-11 victory. Bustamante complimented Hatch's play after the match and commented on how both players were dead on their feet after all the long matches.
Bustamante earned $10,000 in prize money, while Hatch settled for $6,000. Reyes and Archer filled out the top four places.
All in all, it was a great time for the players and fans, and yet another outstanding event at Turning Stone Casino.
