Day one is complete at the Turning Stone Classic VI and day one had it's fair share of upsets.
Two of the biggest upsets of the day saw Evan 'The Running Man' Broxmeyer defeat Mike Davis 9-5 and Adam 'GQ' Smith defeat Shawn Putnam 9-7. Smith earned a match with Corey Deuel on Friday for his win.
Other players advancing late on Thursday included Ralf Souquet, Danny Basavich, Mike Zuglan, Julie Kelly, Keith McCready, George San Souci and Raj Hundal.
