On July 13, 2013, the billiard community lost a great ambassador. Terry Romine, Sr. was the founder of Schon Cues and owner of Romine’s High Pocket billiard parlor near Milwaukee, WI. Numerous professional and national events were held at Romine’s High Pockets through the years, including the 2012 BEF Junior National 9-Ball Championships.
After his passing, donations were made in his loving memory toward a BEF academic scholarship. This scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to one lucky applicant who is planning to attend Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO (lindenwood.edu). The recipient of this scholarship may also be eligible to receive a matching scholarship up to $1,000 from awarded by Lindenwood University.
