The Billiard Congress of America today announced a date change for Summit 2014, taking place in Louisville, Kentucky at the Kentucky International Convention Center. The new date for Summit 2014 will be June 25 - 27, 2014. Summit 2014 was originally planned for July 16 - 18, 2014.
"The Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau approached us about moving our date so that they can accommodate an acrobatic gymnastics national championship event at the convention center in July," said Billiard Congress of America Chairman Ivan Lee. "In exchange for agreeing to move our dates they have agreed to partner with us on the creation of several new entertainment events surrounding Summit 2014. Such events will include a bourbon distillery tour, Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory tour, Louisville Slugger bat maker/cue maker summit, urban bourbon pub tour and Muhammad Ali Center tour. The host hotel will remain the Louisville Marriott Downtown."
