Tomorrow (Friday 19th September) see's the start of the eagerly awaited Belgium Snooker Open. This brand new professional tournament features no less than 5 former World Snooker Champions in Ken Doherty, John Parrott, Shaun Murphy, Graeme Dott and Mark Williams.
These formidable snooker stars are joined by the rising names in World Snooker, Neil Robertson, Mark Selby and Stephen Maguire.
In total 28 players from the World Snooker Tour are vying for the honours alongside 68 high level semi-professional and amateur players.
The one name hot on everyone's lips in Belgium is youngster Luca Brecel, this 13 year old has already achieved numerous maximum breaks in practice and will take this opportunity with open hands. He is pitted against former World Championship runner-up Matthew Stevens in group 10.
The action starts at 10am Belgium time (4am EST) and all matches in the epic round robin stage are best of 3 frames. Only the winner of each group is guaranteed a spot in the last 32 knockout stages and so action will be fierce as everyone battles for position, making every frame count.
