The 16th Annual Junior Nationals are ready to get underway at the University of Arizona Student Union in Tucson Arizona and 123 of the top under 18 and under talent has descended on the desert.
The 18 & Under Open Division boasts 55 players with reigning champion Justin Bergman back attempting to defend his title. Last years runner-up Tyler Strawn is also back and will be making a run at Bergman and his title.
In the 18 & Under Girls Division, last years runner-up Anna Kostanian will be attempting to earn her first JR National win. But there will be 19 other girls trying their best to keep her down. Kostanian finished third in 2002 and second in 2003. Last year's winner Eleanor Collado is not elegible this year due to her age.
The 14 & Under Open Division features returning champion Daniel Rakin, along with 47 other players who hope to be hoisting the trophy at the end of the event.
