The Joss NE 9-Ball Tour was at Boston Billiard Club in Danbury, CT this weekend with a field of 61 players competing for the $6880 in total purse.
Danny Basavich took the hot-seat with a dominating 9-2 win over Len Favata. Favata came back with a 9-5 win over Carlos Vieira on the one-loss side to earn the rematch with Basavich in the finals.
The true double elimination finals went two sets with Favata scoring a 9-8 win over Basavich in the first set. The second set was all Basavich as he cruised to a 9-4 win.
Basavich earned $1600 for first, while Favata pocketed $1100 for second. Vieira and Shawn Keaton filled out the top four spots.
The Joss NE 9-Ball Tour will be at Comet Billiards in Parsippany, NJ on October 30th-31st for their next event. The $15,000 added Turning Stone Casino Classic is filling up fast.
