The US Bar Table Championship is into day two of the 9-Ball Division at the Sands Regency Hotel and Casino in Reno Nevada, and the field of 167 players is now down to 64.
Players advancing in the latest rounds on the winners side included Stan Tourangeau, Charlie Bryant, Max Eberle, Eddie Uber, James Walden, Ismael Paez, Mike Davis, Danny Basavich and Ike Runnels.
Players moving to the one loss included Frankie Hernandez, Kim Davenport, Ernesto Dominguez, Jose Parica, Warren Kiamco, Shane Van Boening and Ramil Gallego.
With only 48 players cashing in the event, the next round on the one loss side will leave 16 players one shot short of the money. Marquee matches coming up on the one loss side include Gabe Owen vs Dennis Orcullo, Vivian Villarreal vs Kim Davenport and Jesse Bowman vs Antonio Lining.
First place in the division will earn $10,000 in prize money. Look for another tournament update late Thursday evening.
