Saturday afternoon results are in from the Generationpool.com Open 9-Ball Championship with eight players already into round three on the winners side.
Joining Allison Fisher, Karen Corr, Helena Thornfeldt, Vivian Villarreal, Sarah Ellerby and Shin-Mei Liu in the third round on the winners side are Canadian Joanne Ashton and Anna Kostanian.
Ashton held on for a hill-hill win over Maureen Seto in round one and followed that win up with a 9-5 win over Tiffany Nelson. Ashton will face Karen Corr in round three.
Kostanian scored wins over Katie Cowan and Kazel Cook to earn her round three match against Shin-Mei Liu.
Marquee matches scheduled for later today on the winners side include Gerda Hofstatter vs Kim White, Jasmin Ouschan vs Melissa Little, Ga Young Kim vs Kim Shaw and Julie Kelly vs Iris Ranola.
