The APA Poolplayer Championships, scheduled for April 29 – May 3, at the Westgate Las Vegas, has been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. APA is currently working with its partners at the Westgate Las Vegas to reschedule the event later this year.
“Like most people, we’ve been watching things across the country and the world change rapidly over the past week or so. We’ve been communicating with the Westgate, and are looking at all our options. We’re continuing to work through those details and when we have more information, we’ll share that with our members,” said President Greg Fletcher.
The APA Poolplayer Championships include the 8-Ball Classic, 9-Ball Shootout, 8-Ball and 9-Ball Doubles Championships and the Wheelchair Championship.
“We know how important this event is to so many of our members, and we know the hard work and dedication that goes into qualifying, so we are going to do everything in our power to reschedule the event,” added Fletcher.
Poolplayer Championships attendees should contact their airline carrier to cancel their current airline reservations and confirm the airlines rebooking/cancellation policy.
APA’s goal is to try and reschedule the 2020 Poolplayer Championships within a timeframe that would allow our members to use their airfare credits to travel to the tournament.
