This is the 16th Edition of this popular South Louisiana Tournament which will be held at Hide Tide Bar & Billiards, May 24-26, 2013.
This event is in honor of Dalton Bourg, a long-time South Louisiana resident and business man. Dalton was afflicted with a terrible bone disease that crippled him at the age of 8 years old. However, being confined to a wheelchair didn’t keep Dalton from being successful in business and well-liked by everyone. Dalton played a great game of 8 ball from the wheelchair and competed in International Events and always did quite well. Dalton was known for him gamble and his prowess at the table. He also helped develop pool in South Louisiana, bringing the BCA pool league system there. He was responsible for developing High Tide Bar & Billiards into one of the most popular pool rooms in South Louisiana. Dalton and his BCA team almost always made an annual trip to Las Vegas and always did well. On a plane trip coming back from Las Vegas, Dalton passed away at an early age of 42 and is still remembered by his friends and customers after these many years. Dave and Connie Parsons, the current owners (since Dalton’s death) host the annual, memorial event and were close friends with Dalton.

The competition will be played on 7 foot Valley Tables with 860 Simonis Cloth & Aramith Valley Cue Ball.
Entry Fee is $30. $500 added money PLUS 100% of the raffle, which will include a Schon cue, a Steve Lomax Jump cue, some Magic Ball Rack sets and more.
100% payout. NO GREEN FEES.
South Louisiana is known for its LARGE CALCUTTAS and this event will be no exception. The Dalton Bourg Memorial Tournament cuts off their entries at 128 and it usually fills early.
8 Ball • Race to 3 both sides • Double Elimination.
Professional players are not allowed in this event.
