The BCA Ranking Events for 2012 are beginning to take shape. These events are the ones that determine which players are invited to international competitions such as the WPA World Championships and the Mosconi Cup. This far in 2012 there are five events that are 'ready to go' and several in the sidelines awaiting approval.
The following events will be BCA Points Events:
1) US Open 10-Ball Championship. Las Vegas
2) Turning Stone Classic Summer Event. Verona, NY
3) The US Open 9-Ball Championships. Virginia Beach, VA
4) Turning Stone Classic Winter Event. Verona, NY
5) The Players Championship at Valley Forge
Events that may or may not be points events this year are:
The Seminole Events. The BCA has received no information concerning these events for 2012.
Ultimate Ten Ball. This event is still in the planning stages.
There are two other events that are also in the planning stages that may qualify as points events. More info will follow when we have the details.
