Day two at the USPPA Pro Am Classic is drawing to a close and top players are starting to knock each other to the one-loss side.
Tony Annigoni, who had won his first two matches without losing a game, lost the case game to Mark Buchko and moved to the one-loss side on Saturday night. Annigoni got to the hill first at 7-6, but Buchko won to knot the match at 7-7. Buchko gave up ball-in-hand on the three ball to Annigoni. Annigoni over-ran the four ball and was forced to play safe and then watch as Buchko ran out the final rack.
A great story at the tournament so far is fourteen year old Braden Murphy. Braden is confined to a wheelchair and plays with the aid of a rolling bridge for long shots. Murphy caught a bye in the first round and has won two matches since then. Braden is already guaranteed 33rd place and a $150 payday.
Brackets are online and being updated multiple times a day.
