The Chinese Taipei Billiard Association has announced the line-up for the 2005 Amway Cup to be held on May 5th - 8th at the Taipei Municipal Sports Centre.
Six touring pros from the WPBA will be playing, including #1 ranked Allison Fisher and #2 ranked Karen Corr. Other WPBA stars joining Fisher and Corr will be reigning World Champion Ga-Young Kim, Jeanette Lee, Jennifer Chen and Jennifer Barretta. Last year's Amway Cup winner Shin-Mei Liu will be representing the home country and will be joined by Shu-Han Chang and Yuan-Chun Lin. Filling out the field will be Austrian sensation Jasmin Ouschan, WPBA hopeful Wendy Jans and Akimi Kajitani from Japan.
This invitation only event will pay $24,000 to the final winner and $12,000 to the runner-up. Cash prizes are awarded to all players who participate.
