Amanda Lampert takes her third straight Houston Open Title at Legends Billiards in League City, playing with her new OB-1 Shaft by her sponsor OB-1 Cues.
With the hotels being full from Katrina and Rita victims and the building being under mandatory evacuation just days before, a field 29 ladies played in this event with top picks Kim White, Amanda Lampert, Kim Pierce & Leslie Ann Rogers.
The Hot seat came down to Amanda Lampert and Belinda Lee with Amanda becoming victorious in this match.
On the other side was Kim White battling back after a second round loss to Kim Pierce. Kim White was out for the title eliminating everyone in her path including Belinda Lee for a chance at Amanda.
The first set went to Kim White as if she would not be stopped. The second set however went the other way with Kim making some mistakes and Amanda playing solid for the win and title.
