Jimmy Wetch was the top seed in Palatine
The Viking Tour is in action this weekend with another $5000 added regional championship. This event, the 2nd regional tour championship of the season, is being held at Quentin Corner Pocket in Palatine, IL.
The field this week is jam-packed with talent including Jimmy Wetch, Larry Nevel, Danny Basavich, Shawn Putnam, Jeff Carter, Ike Runnels and Willie Munson. Even WPBA star Sarah Rousey in attendance and taking advantage of the free entry offered to female players.
As of the time of this report, all of the top seeds were still on the winners side with a marquee matchup of Larry Nevel vs Shawn Putnam coming up mid-afternoon.
