With a 10-8 victory over Efren Reyes early on Saturday, Ronnie Alcano has moved into the final four on the winners side where he will face Rafael Martinez Saturday night in Atlantic City at the 10 Ball Challenge at Trump Marina. On Friday, Alcano shut down a red-hot Warren Kiamco 10-1 to set up the match with Reyes. Kiamco had previously defeated Corey Deuel and Francisco Bustamante.
The other match left on the winners side will feature 'King' James Rempe vs reigning World 9-Ball Champion Earl Strickland. Rempe defeated Alex Pagulayan 10-8 early Saturday, while Strickland won his second straight hill-hill match with a 10-9 win over Dee Adkins.
The one loss side is down to eight players with Saturday matches featuring Francisco Bustamante vs Johnny Archer, Santos Sambajon vs Efren Reyes, Pat McNally vs Alex Pagulayan and Danny Hewitt vs Dee Adkins.
