Dee Adkins went undefeated through a field of 70 players to win the Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour event at Fiddlestix Billiard Café in Canton, OH. Fiddlestix is owned by last week's winner, Chris Szuter, and the tournament was played on the twelve Valley Bar Tables covered with Champion Cloth and equipped with Super Pro Balls.
Adkins took the hot-seat with a win over Hunter Lombardo and then waited as Chris Mitchell handed Lombardo loss #2. Mitchell, from West Virginia, was unable to fare better than Lombardo against Adkins in the finals though. Adkins won the final match 9-4 for the tournament victory.
Adkins pocketed $1500 for first, while Mitchell settled for $1000. Lombardo and Rodney Martin filled out the top four spots.
The Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour will be at Cornfed Red's in Columbus, OH next weekend for their next event.
