TAP of Northwest Arkansas
I have lived in Arkansas for over 20 years. I started playing pool at 10 years old. Later on in years I left the game to pursue other interests only to find myself right back at it years later. I joined a local pool league witch reminded me of my passion for the sport and the fun people had playing. I had been working corporate management for the past 16 years, while bartending on the side. Our local league needed some help; it was obvious that the league operator was in over their head. I found myself helping the league out for the love of the game and the player. As time went on players thought I was doing a better job, I decided to leave my corporate job and return to the bar full time in order to network and get a league off the ground.
After some research, I came across TAP and realized that there formats were what I was looking to promote. I decided to jump in with both feet, and have been thrilled with an incredibly rewarding experience. None of it would have been possible without the commitment and support from the players, I strive continually to make sure each and every one feels appreciated and empowered. My goals are to continue to grow my league, and become more involved on a national level with TAP to help expand and become the best league for the player and host location. I want to use my youth and energy to bring new ideas and help us grow. The “Rally Event†is first class, I’m looking forward to my first trip to Nationals next month ( November 2012). The entire staff at TAP is friendly, approachable, and most of all, supportive! I'm incredibly proud to be a member of the TAP family!
