The Blaze 9 Ball Tour Stop # 30 was hosted by Raxx Bar and Grill in West Hempstead NY. A strong field came out to play including players like Adam Kielar, Shaun Wilkie, Rob Omen, Mike Davis, Mike Miller, Eddie Abraham, Carl Khan, and our new points leader Mike Finger.
Leading the top half of the bracket was Shaun Wilkie with wins over Emily Harrison 7-0, Rob Pole 7-0, Mike Miller 7-5 and Rob Omen 7-1. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Adam Kielar with wins over Wali Muhammad 7-4, Matt Krah 7-6, Carol Martorana 7-1, and Mike Davis 7-5
Playing for the hot seat was Shaun Wilkie vs Adam Kielar. This was a great match that had Adam Kielar pulling away late to win the match 7-5, sending Shaun Wilkie to the one loss side. Waiting for Wilkie on the one loss side was Eddie Abraham. This too was a great match that went hill hill, but when it was all said and done it was Shaun Wilkie winning the match.
Playing in the finals was Adam Kielar vs Shaun Wilkie, Shaun Wilkie had to beat Adam Kielar two matches to win the tournament. Shaun won the first match 6-4 but it was all Adam in the second match 5-2 to win his first Blaze event.
