The Blaze 9 Ball Tour made its way to Raxx Bar & Grill in Hempstead NY on October 26th. Special thanks for Holdin Chin for hosting the event and his wonderful staff for taking care of the players. On Sunday, Raxx Bar & Grill has all NFL teams playing on their many TVs, so if you are looking for a great afternoon to meet people and eat great food stop by Raxx Bar and Grill. Even Steelers fans are welcome.
A strong field of 36 players came out to play, including such notables as Eddie Abraham, Jose Parica, Joey Kong, Xao-Ting Pan, Caroline Pao, Jeremy Sossie, Mike Fingers, and Rob Omen.
Leading the top half of the bracket was Jose Parica with wins over Evan Broxmeyer 7-1, Scott Murphy 7-2, Mike Panzarella 7-1, and Joey Kong 7-3. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Eddie Abraham with wins over Larry Ross 7-3, Oscar Bonilla 7-3,Chris Lazaravich 7-5, Caroline Pao 7-3.
Playing for the hot seat was Eddie Abraham vs Jose Parica. This was a one way match with Eddie Abraham running away with the match 7-3, sending Jose Parica to the one loss side. Waiting for Jose Parica on the one loss side was Joey Kong. This was all Jose Parica, winning the match easily to get to the finals for a rematch against Eddie Abraham.
In the finals it was Eddie Abraham Vs Jose Parica. Parica had to beat Abraham twice to win the tournament, but this day belonged to Eddie Abraham winning the match 7-4 and the tournament.
