The Mezz Pro-Am tour made its way to Drexeline Billiards in Drexel Hill Pa on Sunday February 27th with a field of 52 players including such notables as Eddie Abraham , Josh Brothers, Matt Krah, Raphael Saldana, Michael Praseutsy, Joey Testa, Bruce Nagle,and Adam Kielar to name a few.
Leading the half of the bracket was Raphael Saldana with wins over Bob Whitfield 7-3, Steven Pullia 7-1, Al Waldo 7-4, Phil Wines 7-6, and Bob Maidhof 7-4. Leading the bottom was Eddie Abraham with wins over Joe Hong 7-1, Mike Miler 7-3, Josh Brothers 7-4, and Michael Praseutsy 7-0.
Playing for the hot seat was Raphael Saldana Vs Eddie Abraham this was a great match that went hill-hill before Abraham took the win 7-6, sending Raphael Saldana to the one lost side. Waiting for Saldana on the one lost side was Josh Brothers. This was a one sided match with Brothers winning easily 6-2, to get to the finals.
In the finals it was Eddie Abraham Vs Josh Brothers, Abraham and Brothers decided to split 1st and 2nd and did not play the finals. I would like to thank all the players that came out to play, special thanks to Mezz Cues and all the other Sponsors for their ongoing support.
