Rachael Abbink returned to the winners circle this weekend at the J. Pechauer Michigan Women's 9-Ball Tour stop at The Shark Club in Canton, MI.
A total of 28 ladies turned out for this one, but the winners side finally came down to Abbink and Betsy Sundholm battling it out for the hot-seat. Abbink ran away with that match 9-3 and waited for an opponent in the finals.
On the one loss side, Kelly Pendleton was still smarting from a loss to Abbink earlier on Sunday and she was not ready to put her cue away just yet. Pendleton handed Sundholm loss #2 on the left side of the board 7-3 to earn another shot at Abbink in the finals.
The final was close, but in the end it was Abbink pulling out the 9-7 victory for first place.
Abbink collected $400 for first place, while Pendleton settled for $250 in second place prize money. Sundholm and Sheri Cole filled out the top four places.
The Michigan Women's 9-Ball Tour will be back at The Shark Club on April 24th and 25th for their next stop.
