A-Tex Family Fun Center and Cue & A Promotions sponsor FREE Live Streaming for Special 4th of July Tournament

A-Tex Family Fun Center and Cue & A Promotions are set to sponsor the LIVE stream of this month's Waco 9-Ball Tournament.  This special $750 added 4th of July tournament is one of the regularly scheduled events held at Clicks Billiards in Waco, TX every first Sunday of the month.  

The FREE live stream will be available at www.ustream.tv/channel/bigtruck beginning at 11:00AM CST on Saturday, July 4, 2009.  

A-Tex Family Fun Center and WPBA player, Cristina De La Garza, have donated Poison Cues Products and Lucasi Hybrid cues for a raffle that will support the live streaming of this tournament and add an additional $650 to the tournament purse ($750 total added).

“Poison Cues and A-Tex have been great supporters for me and always promote me as a player so I want to do everything I can to promote them and make them more visible in the pool market in Texas,” said Cristina De La Garza.

The monthly 9-ball tournaments at Clicks have become very popular with players in Central Texas. This tournament, which is limited to only mid-level players, first began in April of 2006 as an avenue for mid-level players to hone their skills.  “Texas has an incredible number of players that compete at very high levels and that makes it tough for the mid-level players to justify spending money traveling every weekend for tournaments. We wanted to provide a place for the mid-level players to compete, earn some money for their efforts and develop their game so that they will hopefully move into the winners circle in larger tournaments,” said Ray Hansen of Cue & A Promotions.

Players who have placed 5th/6th or better in any major regional tour or large event (i.e. Fast Eddies 9-Ball Tour, Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour, Midwest 9-Ball Tour) are ineligible. A council determines eligibility for players that do not play in tournaments or may have had a 5-6th or better finish with extenuating circumstances.
