A Special Day to Celebrate Mile High Players

On Saturday, August 13, pool players in the Denver metro area will be treated to a unique party in their honor. A Player Appreciation Extravaganza will be held at Felt Billiards in Englewood, Colorado to launch the fall pool season. This fun day is hosted by the Rocky Mountain USA Pool League.

Samm Diep, co-league manager, has a full day of activities planned starting from 2 p.m. Mini tournaments will be held all day, along with free challenge shots for prizes, free pool, and drink specials. A free pool clinic is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. open to everyone and a Wellness Seminar is planned from 6-7 p.m. Chiropractor John Hamilton and trainer/nutritionist Michelle Jensen will discuss pool-related injuries, and tournament endurance and nutrition.


"This day is truly all about the players and will be the first of many to come. The word 'extravaganza' is an understatement. We have so many exciting things planned. I want people to show up, have a great time, and walk away with smiles on their faces and wonderful prizes," said Diep.

Free door prizes will be drawn at least once every hour. Players have a chance to win a $20 bar tab, various gift cards, a one hour massage voucher, a complete car detailing, even a Delta-13 elite rack or a Predator jump cue. Participants must be present to claim door prizes. If attendees have their eyes on a particular item, raffle tickets will be sold for additional prizes without needing to be present to win.

Proceeds from all raffle ticket sales will be added to future Rocky Mountain USAPL events. Felt will also be contributing 10% of the day's proceeds to the league for future tournaments.
