Tony Le Wins All American Tour Stop

The 2011-2012 Lucasi Hybrid Cues All American Tour – presented by the American CueSports Alliance (ACS) – showcased its twentieth stop at Cuemasters Billiards in Dubuque, IA, Saturday, February 4.  The $500-added 8-ball tourney on 7-foot Valley bar boxes drew 27 players in a double-elimination, races-to-4 format (no A-players, Masters or Elite were eligible).  On the A-side, Tony Le (Cedar Rapids, IA) won the hot seat by clipping Levi Behnke (Farley, IA) 4-3 in the finals, after Le and Behnke had dispatched their respective semi-finals opponents Mike Clancy (E. Dubuque, IL) 4-3 and Brian Shannon (Dubuque, IA) 4-1.

On the B-side Clyde Dunlap (Dubuque, IA) and Bill Kramer (Dubuque, IA) were eliminated at 5th place at the hands of Mike Clancy 3-4 and Brian Shannon 2-4.  Clancy then ousted Shannon at 4th place by a 4-1 margin, and Mike continued his hot hand to claim the B-side finals – blanking Levi Behnke 4-0.  The tourney finals was a close call for Tony Le again, but Mike Clancy lost by a 4-3 margin once more in the first set to give Le the title!

By virtue of Tony Le being the highest-finishing ACS member in the event, he qualified for a free 9-Ball singles entry into the 2012 Lucasi Hybrid ACS Nationals at the Tropicana Las Vegas – courtesy of the ACS.  The ACS wishes to thank sponsors Lucasi Hybrid Cues, Championship Billiard Fabric and Nick Varner Signature Cases for their support in donating "Value-In-Kind" product for this and all stops on the Lucasi Hybrid All American Tour. Sponsorship opportunities and tour stop openings are still available for the 2011/2012 All American Tour by contacting the ACS.

The Tour moves to the southeast U.S. on Saturday, February 11, with the annual "Valentine's 8-Ball Massacre" at Q's Sports Bar & Girl in Port Charlotte, FL (contact Ken Coulter at 941-585-9600)   Further information, entry details and schedules for the 2011/2012 Lucasi Hybrid All American Tour are available at www.americancuesports.org.
