In a series of matches that promised to be closer than they turned out we still have 8 players on the undefeated side of the charts at the Seminole Pro Tour event at Fiddlestix.
The winner's side saw Darren Appleton progress 9-0 over Alex Pagulayan. As I have never seen Pagulayan handed a true doughnut I will assume that he missed his match time and forfeited. I will let you know in the next report if I find out. Dennis Hatch escaped George Rothrock 9-7 and that was the closest match on the winner's side. John Morra put down Jason Klatt 9-6, Strickland trounced James Roberts 9-4, Johnny Archer rolled over Thorsten Hohmann 9-3 and Brandon Shuff snuffed John Schmidt 9-4.Corey Deuel ushered Mike Dechaine left at 9-5 and Rodney Morris won over Ernesto Dominguez 9-6.
This results in the following match-ups next on the winner's side. Darren Appleton will go against Dennis Hatch (could be colorful), and Earl Strickland will face John Morra. Johnny Archer goes against Brandon Shuff and Corey Deuel gets to tackle Rodney Morris.
There is a lot of news and action on the one-loss side. Stevie Moore has been sent home by Shawn Putnam 9-7. Jesse Engel ended it all for Oscar Dominguez 9-6 and Dennis Haar did the same to Chris Szuter 9-4. Chris Bartram advanced over Rich Richardson 9-4 and and Sal Butera is out of here as Larry Nevel bested him 9-5.
Some interesting matches in the next round of the one-loss side include Shane Van Boening V James Roberts, Jesse Engel V Alex Pagulayan, and Chris Bartram V Hunter Lombardo.
