Taking place at East London's legendary York Hall, following an eight year absence, the Mosconi Cup features two five man teams representing Europe and the USA competing over four days from Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th December.
Following four years without a win, Team USA came good in Las Vegas last December as they brushed aside the European challenge and they will be back this year, determined to hang onto the trophy in the intimidating atmosphere of the York Hall.
Matchroom Sport chairman and Mosconi Cup promoter, Barry Hearn, is delighted to be bringing the Mosconi Cup back to such an exciting venue.
‘What makes the York Hall such a special venue for pool is that it is compact and manages to generate a frightening amount of atmosphere. We have room for around 400 and I am expecting these tickets to sell quickly,' he said.
‘I can't remember an event I have promoted in recent times, that has generated so much interest and ever since we announced the venue back in April, we have been receiving ticket enquiries on a daily basis.'
