Kane and Murgia Joust in Castle

Andrew Kane bested Gary Murgia 7-5 to twin the Tri-State Tour event at Castle Billiards in East Rutherford, NJ this weekend. Kane had gone undefeated to the hot seat match and really had not had to work hard to get there but Gary Murgia took him to the hill to before he could pull out the hot seat win and await the finals. Murgia had been down 6-3 in that match before dragging Kane to the hill.

On the One-Loss side of the charts a lot of close matches were being held by the likes of Guy Iannuzzi, John Trobiano, Annie Flores, Tony Eglesias, and Teddy Lapadula. But in the end it was the loyal and ever-present Gary Murgia who got the shot at the title only to fall short to Kane 7-5.
