Beginning August 29th to the 31st - Aruba will hosting the 2nd Caribbean Billiard's Union Tour Stop, a 10-ball event with $3,000 American dollars added to the prize fund. A field of 48 International and Caribbean players are expected to participate. Tournament entry fee is just $125 USD.
Classic Billiards in Aruba will be the host venue with Caribbean Mercantile Bank NV, being the main sponsor for this summer International pool event.
The best players from South America will match up with the best Caribbean players including stars from Jamaica, Guyana, Curacao, and Aruba. Puerto Rico, USA, Bonaire, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Dominican Republic have also been invited to the event.
Ike Runnels from Chicago, USA., Leo Campos from Peru and residing in the U.S.A, Danny Gokhul residing in London and recent BCA 8-Ball Champion, Sunil “The Termite” Kissendal from Jamaica, Risandro Rodriguez & Luis Miguel Sanchez both from Venezuela, Cristian Tuvi from Uruguay, 7 players from Peru lead by Jhon Lopez former WPA World Pool Championship participant, 7 players from Curacao lead by Johnny “The Legend” Hellmund and young gun Anthony Wever who just won gold at the CPB Junior Panamerican Championships in Nicaragua, and more then 20 Aruban strong players including Aaron “The Baron” Franken, Richard “The Wolffman” Woff, Roland “D-Gun” Acosta, Master Ryan Rampersaud will all be vying for this Caribbean 10-Ball Title.
