The Turning Stone Classic X is now down to just eight players hoping to earn the first place prize of $8000.
On the winners side, Johnny Archer is still the man to beat. Archer had dominating wins over Edwin Montal, Bucky Souvanthong and Mike Wallace in his last three matches, but will face Tony Chohan on Sunday morning. Chohan has had a tougher batch of opponents, but remains undefeated after wins over Tony Robles, Ray McNamara and Robb Saez.
The other half of the winners side will see tournament surprise Jeremy Sossei take on Ronnie Wiseman. Sossei has been drawing attention with his play all weekend and has not allowed an opponent more than five games against him yet.
On the one loss side, Mika Immonen will face Louis Ulrich and Dennis Hatch will try to keep his dreams of winning his first Turning Stone Classic alive against Stevie Moore.
