Venue Named For Junior Nationals and Collegiate 9-Ball Championships

The Billiard Education Foundation (BEF) has finalized arrangements to combine the 19th Annual Junior Nationals to be played in conjunction with the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) Collegiate 9-Ball Championships for the 3rd consecutive year. Minnesota State University, Mankato (MSU) will host this event on July 10th – 15th, 2007. ACUI competition will be held on July 10th-12th, while the Junior excitement begins Thursday thru Sunday, July 12th -15th .

The Maverick Game Room features eighteen (18) 9-foot Brunswick billiard tables and will be stage to an expected 250 young athletes competing for scholarship awards, an invite to represent the United States at the WPA Junior World Championships and other prizes.

To participate in the BEF Junior Nationals, players must earn an entry through a qualifier or be appointed by their local league. Qualifiers for the 4 divisions: 19 & Under Boys, 19 & Under Girls, 14 & Under Boys and 14 & Under Girls will be held through mid June 2007.
