Dragon Promotions will be bringing the US Pro Tour Championship back to Los Angeles! Being the only major men's pro billiards event on the West Coast, fans and players will be happy to see this events return at the Normandie Casino in Gardena, CA. This 9-Ball tournament will have a guaranteed $20,000 added and limited to 96 players paying $12,000 1st Place.
This years event will again be aired in a 4 hour production for ESPN including the Quarter,Semi,and Finals. Last year the US Pro Tour Championships was aired in North America, Asia, Latin America, and Australia.
This years field will be stacked again with the world's best players including defending champion Rodney Morris, Runner-Up and World Straight Pool Champion Thorsten Hohmann, past US PTC Champion Mika Immonen, #1 US Ranked Johnny Archer, former BCA Open Champion Charlie Williams, US Mosconi Cup Rookie Mike Davis, Korean Champion Shin Young Park and the rest of the stars of the UPA.
As tradition, after the finals on Sunday will be the Annual UPA Year End Awards for 2006 Player of the Year, Sportsman of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Man of the Year. New awards this year will include Most Entertaining Player and Best Dressed Player. All your favorite players will be there so fans mark the dates on your calendar now!
