The SE Open 9-Ball Tour held stop #12 at Jump Shots (formerly Shootersville) in Delray Beach, Fl over the weekend where a field of 52 players took to the 10 custom Gandy tables in search of their share of the $1000 in added prize money.
Brian Davalos squeaked out a 9-8 win over Nathan Rose for the hot-seat. Rose would need to get by Phil Rosen on the one loss side to earn another shot at Davalos, and he did just that by the score of 9-6.
The win over Rosen earned Rose another shot at Davalos but it didn't matter as Davalos scored an 11-7 win over Rose in the finals.
Davalos pocketed $1000 for first place, while Rose settled for $500 in second place money. Rosen and Mike Williams filled out the top four spots. Emily Wilmoth and Willie Rubin were the top finishing female and junior players and earned $50 each.
The SE Open 9-Ball Tour will be at Play-Boy Billiards in Lake Worth, FL on October 29th-30th for their next event.
