The J Pechauer Custom Cues Southeast Open 9-Ball Tour held their 5th stop of the season at The Billiard Club in Louisville, Ky on July 30th-31st with a field of 58 players competing on the 12 beautiful Diamond Smart Tables.
On the winners side, Tommy Stephenson scored a 9-6 win over Chuck Raulson for the hot-seat. At the same time, Billy Peay was eliminating Josh Johnson by the same 9-6 score on the one-loss side. Johnson went home with a 4th place finish.
Peay then handed Raulston loss #2 by the score of 9-5 on the left side of the board, sending Raulston to the bleachers with a 3rd place finish.
This left the extended final match, which was dominated by Stephenson. When the dust had cleared, Stephenson had 11 games and Peay only had 5.
Stephenson earned $1000 for first, while Peay settled for $500. Raulston and Johnson filled out the top four spots. Mary Marilla was the top finishing female and she earned the $50 bonus.
The tour, players and spectators wanted to thank The Billiard Club of Louisville for hosting another great event and they look forward to the tour's return on Dec 10-11.
