The Pechauer West Coast Tour held its 12th stop at BackStreet Billiards in Boise, ID. Play kicked off and ran smooth throughout Saturday with the top competitors returning to finish up on Sunday. Stan Tourangeau of Vancouver, BC stormed through the a-side awaiting his opponent for the finals. BackStreet's owner Doug Berest lost to Tourangeau in the hotseat match and dropped back to face Paul Potier who came all the way through the b-side after a first round loss! Berest dismissed Potier in a close 9-7 match.
The single race to 13 finals witnessed incredible playing, and ultimately a 13-9 victory of Tourangeau over Berest. This is Tourangeau's first win of the tour season, and this win will move him up considerably in the point standings. Stay tuned to AZbilliards for complete press releases and point standings.
