Michelle Rakin continued her domination of the Western Women's Regional Tour this weekend with her fourth straight tournament win at Hard Times Billiards in Sacramento, CA.
Rakin lost to Revelina Morales 7-5 for the hot-seat, but bounced back with a 7-2 win over Veronica Vivette. This set up the rematch with Morales in the true double elimination finals.
Rakin rolled over Morales in the first set of the finals 7-1, but Morales stayed close in the second set before Rakin pulled out the 7-5 win.
Rakin won $350 for first place, while Morales settled for $230. Vivette and Tracy Palma filled out the top four spots. Morales, Vivette and Palma are all members of the California Cue Ts who won the BCA Open 8-Ball title last May. Along with teammate Ivy Boroso, they took four of the top eight spots in this event.
The Western Women's Regional Tour will be at Family Billiards in San Francisco, CA on November 8th - 9th for their next event.
