The Women's Professional Billiard Association is seeking Letters of Interest from prospective host locations who are interested in hosting the 2014 WPBA Regional Tour Championships.
The WPBA Regional Tour Championships were created in 2001 to offer a tournament where the best players from each WPBA Regional Tour come together to decide who is the cream of the crop. The idea behind the Regional Tour Championships is to recognize the importance of our Regional Tour system and to reward the winner for being the best of the bunch. WPBA Regional Tours are the grass-roots program for the WPBA organization, providing up-andcoming female players with a competitive circuit to sharpen their skills and earn the right to play in WPBA events. In order for a player to qualify to play in a WPBA event, players must “graduate” through a qualifying system.
WPBA Regional Tour Players from across the United States that have participated in a WPBA Regional Tour, is a WPBA member in good standing, and finished in the top of their Regional Tour standings, are invited to participate in this championship event. The winner of this prestigious event will be invited to participate in 2014 WPBA Tour events, with the exception of the Year End Championships, which are invited by WPBA ranking.
The Host Room selected for the contract shall be responsible for meeting the requirements of the official RFP. All interested respondents should review the attached Host Room and Financial Requirements to ensure their location meets all event requirements.
All respondents must submit a Letter of Intent by August 30, 2013 to request a copy of the Official RFP proposal form.
A completed Official RFP Response Form must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. EST, Friday, September 13, 2013.

2014 WPBA Regional Tour Championships
HOST ROOM AND FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS
The Host Room submitting a proposal must:
- Meet or exceed the minimum requirements necessary to host a 32 or 64-player field
- Provide a minimum of Ten (10) 9-foot tables for a minimum of three (3) days with a maximum of four (4) days access to Host Room for main event
- Provide access to the Host Room from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM each day of the event
- Minimum of two (2) restroom stalls in the ladies room
- Access to Wi-Fi for live streaming
- Ample seating for fans and players
- Provide a mutually agreed upon qualified Tournament Director
- Minimum requirement of added money is Two Thousand Five Hundred dollars ($2,500) for a 32 player regional event or Five Thousand dollars ($5,000) for a 64 player national event.
- Waive table time and “greens fees” for participants for the duration of the event (event hours only)
Right to Modify RFP Scope
The WPBA reserves the right to modify the scope of the project, including adding and deleting specific modules/functional areas from the RFP procurement.
