It is not often that a hotel in Chesapeake, VA has the opportunity to host a marquis and internationally renowned sporting event, but thanks to Barry’s perseverance and innovative spirit, we at the Marriott couldn’t be more thrilled to once again reserve our entire hotel for the 39th Annual US Open 9-Ball Championship, during the week of October 12-18, 2014.
A new floor plan design offers guests an unobstructed view of the action from a more intimate vantage point; no matter where they happen to sit. The spectator experience this year will undoubtedly surpass any and all expectations.
Barry’s commitment to engaging the 9-Ball community will also be conveyed by way of a newly created Amateur Event to be held on seven foot tables located in additional space at the Marriott. This exciting addition, where a field of 200-300 amateurs are expected to compete, will commence the weekend prior to championship play and run through the final weekend.
