The EPBF is sadly reporting the passing away of Thomas Gietmann who left us last week on Wednesday, June 26th after long illness.
Gietmann was one of the main persons responsible for the creation and development of junior's pool billiard in the Netherlands. He was always a noble sportsman and a great character to work with. A huge part of the success of the Dutch junior team, the "young orange", is definitely owed to Thomas.
The international pool billiard family will miss him and his fresh and innovative ideas. Our thoughts go out to his family...
