Association of Billiard Professionals President Johnny Archer has retracted his previous statement regarding the ABP's involvement with escrowing the prize money for the upcoming US Open 9-Ball Championship.
"I was under the impression that we had an agreement in place, but that is not the case" said Archer.
"At this time, there is no agreement in place between Barry and the ABP. We are offering no protection to the players in regards to being paid at this event" Archer continued.
