The Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour is in action this weekend at Snooker's Café & Billiards in Providence, RI for the 14th Annual Ocean State 9-Ball Championship.
The field of 91 players will be whittled down to sixteen players by the end of the night on Saturday and all these players will be in the money when they return on Sunday.
Winners side matches for Sunday will be Teddy Garrahan vs Mika Immonen, George San Souci vs Efren Reyes, Frankie Hernandez vs Sandor Tot and Bob Hammack Jr vs Francisco Bustamante.
Top players returning for Sunday action on the one loss side include Charlie Williams, Joey Korsiak, Young Hwa Jeong (pictured) and Ronnie Alcano. Alcano lost to Bustamante early on Saturday and survived a hill-hill thriller with Robb Saez to make it to the sunday matches. Jeong moved over to the one loss side early on Saturday as he lost to Snookers owner Steve Goulding in his first match of the event.
One top players who failed to qualify for Sunday action was Rafael Martinez who lost Alcano and Darren Beliveau on Saturday.
