The Hard Times Billiards Summer Jamboree is underway at Hard Times Billiards in Sacramento, California.
The event kicked off on Tuesday with the $2500 added One-Pocket division and will conclude with a $5000 added 9-ball event that gets underway on Friday. There is also a $1000 bonus to any player that can win both divisions.
The One-Pocket division started with 42 players on Tuesday afternoon and the upsets started in the first round as Jose Parica fell to Jerry Matchin 3-1. Matchin went on to defeat Robert Aldana 3-1 in round two.
Shawn Putnam is making his presence known, with back-to-back 3-0 wins to start his run on this event. He will face either Ronnie Allen or Ron Marshall next.
Complete brackets for the one-pocket division are online and will be updated all week.
