Mark Cantrill of Eclipse Media Group, announced today that the Billiard Palace in Albuquerque, NM will host the first stop of the Legends and Champions Pool Tour on May 30th and 31st.
The Legends and Champions Pool Tour, features Johnny (The Scorpion) Archer and Earl (The Pearl) Strickland, and consists of a four hour pool school during the day and an exhibition in the evening with two of the greatest players to have ever played the game.
“We were not planning to begin the tour until mid July but Mark Meloche of the Billiard palace in Albuquerque wanted this event to coincide with the NM State Championships that are also being held at the Billiard Palace. We were only too happy to accommodate his request” said Mark Cantrill.
The rest of the tour stops will resume in mid July and hope to visit San Diego, LA, Bakersfield/Fresno, San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, Portland and Seattle.
“We have had such a good response from the pool and billiards community in New Mexico that we have had to add a second pool school to be held on the 30th of May that is already filled up. Earl and I are both really excited about this Pool School and Exhibition Tour, we will get to visit places that we don't get to see very often and it is going to be a great experience not only for the students and spectators but for us too” said Archer. Once all the Venues and dates have been secured more information will be released and pool school sign ups will begin for all locations.
