With play complete on day two of the 3rd Annual UPA Atlanta Open, you can add Corey Deuel to the list of players who forfeited matches. Unfortunately for Deuel, it was a match on the left side of the board that he forfeited. Deuel arrived late for his match with Tony Robles and was forfeited out of the tournament.
Other players that joined Robles advancing on the one-loss side were Rodney Morris, Wade Crane, John Schmidt, Santos Sambajon and Luc Salvas.
On the winner side, Young-Hwa Jeong continued his sharp play and sent Fabio Petroni to the one-loss side by the score of 11-7. Jeong will take on Jeremy Jones at 3pm EST on Saturday. Jones defeated Charlie Bryant 11-8 on Friday. Also remaining undefeated were Cliff Joyner, Mike Davis, Danny Medina, Mika Immonen, Ralf Souquet and Charlie Williams.
