Bobby Pickle went undefeated through a field of 70 players at the Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour stop at Breakers Sport Bar & Grill in Knoxville, TN.
Pickle, who just tied the knot during the BCA Open 9-Ball Championships, took the hot-seat with an 8-5 victory over Sam Tush. Tush then fell in a hill-hill match with Scott Halfley on the one-loss side to set up the final match between Pickle and Halfley.
Pickle roared out to a 7-1 lead in the final match, only to find himself stalled at seven games while Halfley mounted his comeback. Halfley got the score back to 7-5, before Pickle was able to move the final bead over for the 8-5 victory.
Pickle collected $1850, while Halfley settled for $1200 in prize money. Tush and BJ Ussery filled out the top four spots.
