On May 31st, Great Slates Billiards in Cambridge, Maryland will celebrate their grand opening with exhibitions and a challenge match between former World Champion Allen Hopkins and reigning World Champion Earl Strickland.
Strickland and Hopkins will perform trick shot exhibitions, compete in 'Challenge The Pro' matches for charity and finally compete in a nine ball, race to 11, challenge match for $3000 at the end of the night.
Great Slates is a 15,000 square foot room equipped with 21 Gabriel tables, full bar and complete menu of food choices to enjoy while watching the two champions play.
The festivities get started at 3pm and will conclude around 9:30. Admission is free to the public.
