Due to unforeseen circumstances, Hampton Ridge 9 Ball Tour 7th Stop at the (Spot) was changed to Drexeline Billiards in Drexel Hill PA. I want to thank Bob Maidhof for hosting the event on such a short notice.
Thirty one players made thier way to the event, leading the way on the winners side was Joe Scott with wins over Chris Ward 7-4, Sam Quinzi 7-6, Keith Christman 7-4 and Eddie Abraham 7-4. Leading the way on the bottom half of the bracket was Lee Holt with wins over Lou Patrikios 7-4, Dave Daya 7-5, John Greshock 7-4 and Phil Sherman 7-5.
Fighting for the hot seat was Joe Scott vs Lee Holt, Holt played a good match but lost 7-5. Joe Scott was in dead stroke with the win and it gave him his first hot seat. After losing his first match, Bob Maidhof went on a 7 game winning streak and the only player left in his to make it to the finals was Lee holt. This was a great match that went hill-hill. Bob Maidhof had a chance to win the match, but instead Lee Holt got back to the table and made a four nine combo for the 7-6 win.
The loss gave Bob Maidhof third place and the win gave Lee Holt a chance to face Joe Scott in the finals.
In the finals it was Joe Scott Vs Lee Holt, this time things were a little different. Joe Scott only won two games as Lee Holt ran away with the match with a 9-2 win.
